How to Prepare for your Photo Shoot

In order for your listing to shine(!) which, in turn, will create more interest and ultimately HIGHER offers, it's imperative that your home is ready to photograph prior to my arrival.  Here is a list of things to do in order to have your listing SHINE.  

WIRES

  • Unplug and hide as many wires (computer/tv/appliances) as possible.***

CLEANING NEEDED

  • Clean all windows and mirrors

  • Make beds

  • Put away as many personal items as possible in all rooms (pictures, jewelry, toys, baby supplies, any furniture that may fill the room

  • Vacuum

  • Clean kitchen appliances

  • All garbage cans hidden

  • All showers and bathtubs cleared of all personal items

INTERIOR

  • All closets closed

  • All blinds open (turned open or all the way up, depending on views)

  • All lights on and working (including lamps)

  • All pet supplies put away, including bowls

  • Remove as many rugs as you can from floors

EXTERIOR

  • No vehicles in the driveway

  • Put trashcans in the garage and out of view

  • Toys, pet supplies, hoses, etc. out of site

  • Yard mowed

  • Snow Shoveled

  • Inform neighbors of shoot time so they can clean their yard, have cars out of view and trash cans put away
